WEG Hosting Info

We need more of our members to sign up to be hosts.  Thanks for your interest!  If you have a spare bedroom and bathroom, you probably can help.  We have  few hosts so far, and the ones we do have don't match up with the needs of some of our prospective guests. 

You are encouraged to contact Valerie Profit, Eileen O'Donohue, or some other member of the WEG Committee, (if you haven't already done so), about what exactly would be involved in hosting before you officially sign up.  We also have a WEG table set up after church most Sundays. 

We advertised B & B accommodations, and most hosts offer them, but a few of us are offering rental of an entire home or apartment. 

In response to a few misconceptions we have noted, here are some clarifications:  

Hosts do not collect the money from the guests.  (The guests pay the church by check or through PayPal.)

Hosts do not provide guests with visitor's packets.  (Terese mails these to the guests when they pay their deposits.)
If a host has privacy or other concerns, some details about their offering may be omitted from the online listing.

Type in your information and email it back to your webmaster, webmaster@uucl.org .  Also email any pictures of your accommodations to her as well.
