Fun and Fellowship Activities                           

There are many activities we do at  the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington mainly for fun and fellowship, (and in many cases, food)! Sometimes we even raise some money to support the work of our Church in the process.  (If you are interested in combining fun and fellowship with serving our church, please see a list of some of our Church committees. )

The activities of our church are dynamic, so that any attempt to capture them all on a website is difficult.   However, here are some of them that occur on a regular basis.  Times may fluctuate, so check our newsletter, the Uniview, for details.  This is especially important during the summer months, when some groups may take a month or two off.

1st Sunday Potluck
On the 1st Sunday of each month, the church has a potluck in the Great Hall immediately following the service. Everyone attending should bring a dish which will feed 8 people, and everything is welcome from salads, veggies, entrees to desserts. All dishes, utensils and beverages are supplied. This is a well attended event where we all socialize and relax together and enjoy some incredible foods!

Moms' Group
The UUCL Moms' Group was established in 2002. We meet monthly (at UUCL or a local restaurant) for fun and friendship and to share the joys and challenges of motherhood. The group is open and new members are welcome at any time. 

Sunday UU Potluck Suppers, (SUUPS)

Sunday UU Potluck Suppers provide an opportunity to meet and greet your fellow UU's while you enjoy a wonderful dinner at the home of one of our members.  Suppers will be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month for each of the months of Sept., Oct., Nov., Jan., Feb., and Mar., and Apr. Each  individual who signs up will host once during the year. Couples will probably host twice.  If the 3rd Sunday does not work for the host, he/she/they may arrange an alternate date for the dinner that month. The host(s) will determine the menu and provide the main dish.  Guests will provide appetizer, salad, vegetable, or dessert, depending on what’s planned for the meal.  Learn more and/or sign up on line.

UU Men's Night Out
On the 1st Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm,  all UU men are invited to our regular evenings of fellowship, food, darts & billiards, and of course, beer!  For this month's location, check the Church Calendar or send an email. 

UU Women Dining Out
All women invited!  Come join us once a month for a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Service Auction
Our annual service auction, held each year in February or March, is our congregation's biggest fundraising event.  In addition to great food, fellowship, and entertainment, attendees bid on the services and other items donated by our members and friends and by local businesses.
