Just Restarting!

Our church's biggest fundraiser, (and biggest social event), of the year is our annual Grand Event, or Service Auction.    The 2011 Grand Event was held April 30.  Activities included a silent auction, 1940's costume contest and dance.  A huge thank you to all who helped!  We raised about $8,000.  Planning for the 2012 event will begin soon, and the team will really get busy after the holidays.

Just Finished!

The concert series continued with The Famous Deceptors performing on Sat., Dec. 3. A big thanks to the Concert Team!  We made several hundred dollars, and a rocking good time was had by all!

Our 10th annual Craft Fair and Pie Sale was held Sun., Nov. 20.  A huge thanks to everyone who helped with this!

Kroger Gift Cards  Workshop was held on Sun., Nov. 6!

RUUFTop Cafe  is back!  Last spring we enjoyed gourmet breakfasts at a great price before church about every other Sunday.  All proceeds went to the the UUCL Roof Fund.  The RUUFTop Cafe  re-opened on Sun., Nov. 6, serving both breakfasts starting at 9:00 am and brunch after the worship service.    The next one will be Sun., Dec. 17.   

UUCL Mini Farmers' Market  The 2011 Market has finished up!   This year we supplemented the goodies folks brought in from their own gardens with produce from a vegetable garden on UUCL grounds. We made  $500.52.

The concert with Grover Mollineaux was held on Fri., Oct. 21. We  raised $471 and all who attended enjoyed a great concert. 

Summer BBQ Lunch was held after the worship service on Sun., July 17. A huge thanks to all the folks who really worked hard to make this a success, and to everyone who bought food.  We made about $220! 

Central Kentucky Guitar Night came to Natasha's!  Headline performers Alien Blue generously donated a portion of their proceeds to UUCL. 

The 2011 UUCL Ultimate Garage Sale made over $4,000.  More info and pictures.
