Meet our Membership Coordinator, Sarah Herbener
My
name is Sarah Herbener, and I'm the Membership Coordinator here at UUCL. My
job is to help get the word out around the Bluegrass about Unitarian
Universalism, to work with our Greeters' Team to make sure visitors feel at
home here and get all the information they need, to teach visitors about
church programs and activities and about membership, and to welcome new
members and help them settle into our church community.
I grew up here in Lexington, then traveled around for a few years, but my husband and I returned here when our daughter was born because we think Lexington is such a nice place to raise a family. We now have two children, and we've all called UUCL our church home since 2005. The church has been so important in my life that it's a real joy to spread the word about it and to help people feel at home just as I do!
