Religious Education: The Young Explorers

The “Young Explorers” program is for children in preschool through kindergarten, and the same themes are followed. The entire approach to RE has changed in this fresh program.

The Guide with the Red banner leads the kids from morning service to the downstairs space. Every week the kids have playtime, circle time with songs, stories and Exploration Centers to visit. Guides are with the children every Sunday.

People from the congregation volunteer to lead centers for the preschool & kindergarten group. These centers are activities that help children explore the theme, for example: Buddhism- Zen sand gardens, watercolor painting, walking meditation, and storytelling.
