Give to UUCL

We are certainly living in some uniquely challenging times - dealing with the effects of a global pandemic, an uncertain economy, political unrest, and the struggle for racial justice. The Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington is a beacon of light in central Kentucky that helps us fight against feelings of isolation and hopelessness. Our church is maintaining community and connection by offering weekly services, religious exploration activities, and musical performances, as well as engaging in racial justice work and education.

Thank you for being a part of the UUCL community, and helping it thrive through your expression of support for our beloved church community. Through our shared commitment to one another and the community we have created, UUCL is sustained.

You can donate directly to UUCL by clicking on the DONATE button below. Please choose a fund from the drop-down menu, if you wish for your donation to be applied to a specific purpose.

For those wishing to set-up automatic withdrawals, the ACH form is available here: ACH Authorization Form

UUCL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As such, all donations made to the church are tax deductible.

The only instances when money given to the church is not tax deductible is when those funds have been used to purchase something from UUCL. Money spent to purchase goods or services from our Holley Bookstore, Service Auction, or Fundraising Events is not tax-deductible.

However, UUCL’s fundraisers do have a tremendous impact on our annual operating expenses! Furthermore, donations to our annual “Reverse Auction” are tax-deductible, as nothing has been purchased.

For our donors’ tax records, UUCL automatically sends statements out each January to those who have donated more than $250 during the previous year. When possible, donation statements are sent by email, in order to reduce paper waste and postage expenses. Additionally, statements are available by request at any time of the year, for any amount donated. Please contact us if you would like to request your statement.
